What I’m Rebuilding

This journey is not just about weight loss.

It’s about rebuilding the structure of my life.

Physical health

I’m working toward reaching 250lbs.

That number matters, but what matters more is the process of getting there:

  • consistent running 4 times a week
  • improving endurance over time
  • rebuilding strength and conditioning through repetition

This is not about shortcuts. It’s about staying consistent long enough for change to become permanent.

Mental discipline

I’ve always dealt with anxiety, especially around health.

What I’m learning now is that discipline reduces that noise.

When I stick to my routines—running, eating better, showing up—it becomes easier to manage my thoughts instead of being controlled by them.

Family and presence

One of the most important parts of this process is my family.

I have a wife and three children. A good day for me isn’t defined by productivity—it’s defined by presence.

It’s being there with my kids, watching them laugh, and not feeling like I’m mentally somewhere else.

Those moments matter more than anything else I’m working on.

Habits that are changing

The foundation of this rebuild is simple habits:

  • no alcohol since February 2025
  • fewer fast food and takeout meals
  • more home-cooked meals with my wife
  • consistent running schedule
  • tracking weight and progress

None of these are extreme. They are sustainable.

What I’m aiming for

The goal isn’t just to lose weight.

It’s to become:

  • more consistent
  • more present
  • more capable under pressure
  • more disciplined in daily life

And to maintain that while still carrying responsibility at home and at work.

This is not a reinvention.

It’s a rebuild.

Slow, steady, and deliberate.

Forward under load.
